Ingredients
1oz of 10 Torr Vacuum Distilled Vodka
3oz Fresh Ruby Red Grapefruit Juice
.75oz Lemon
.75oz Rosemary Simple Syrup (see recipe below)
Technique
Fill a Collins glass with ice and build this cocktail in the glass. Pour in your Spirit first, replace any diluted ice so it is filled to the top, add in your Juices and Rosemary Simple syrup and give it a quick stir with a bar spoon. Garnish it with a Sprig of Rosemary and a Fresh Grapefruit Wheel.
1:1 Rosemary Simple Syrup
In a saucepan lightly toast Rosemary leaves until they are fragrant. Then add 8oz of water and 1 Cup of Turbinado sugar and heat it on medium low heat and stir it until the sugar dissolves. Cover the saucepan with a lid and remove it from the heat. Let it steep for 6 minutes, strain the Rosemary out and let the syrup cool before putting it into a bottle or a container. Hot Tip: Add a .5oz of Vodka to your syrup to increase the shelf life.
