Thomas Lee, a seasoned brewer and distiller, has been immersed in the craft beverage industry for over 15 years. Born in Tallahassee, Florida, he moved to Reno, Nevada, at the age of nine. With a degree in Culinary Arts, Thomas began his career as an assistant kitchen manager at Great Basin Brewing Company, where he discovered his passion for craft beer. Determined to learn the art of brewing, he dedicated his days off to working in the brewery for free—an experience that eventually led to a full-time position as a lead brewer at Great Basin’s production facility.
Seeking new challenges, Thomas took on the role of Head Brewer at Bull Island Brewing Company in Hampton, Virginia, where he played a key role in building the brewery from the ground up. However, his love for home brought him back to the Reno/Tahoe area, where he expanded his expertise into craft distilling. For the past five years, he has been an integral part of 10 Torr Distilling and Brewing, honing his skills in both brewing and distilling.
Thomas is known for his positive energy, deep passion for his craft, and unwavering dedication to producing high-quality beverages. His enthusiasm is contagious—just one conversation with him, and it’s clear that he truly loves what he does.
